KOGNISKO 2026
On behalf of the Toruń Cognitive Science Student Association and the Department of Cognitive Science at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, we cordially invite you to the annual event of the cognitive science community – KOGNISKO!
KOGNISKO is more than just a party. It is an annual gathering that has been bringing our community together for years – connecting professors with alumni, first-year students with PhD candidates, and everyone together with those who simply love thinking about thinking. By the campfire (or its modern equivalent), the boundaries between the lecture hall and the outside world disappear – leaving only people, conversations, and a shared passion for exploring the mysteries of the human mind.
This year, we are moving from our previous locations to the NCU Copernican Integration Centre (KOI) – a space created precisely for meeting, talking, and celebrating together. Here is what awaits you:
- Contests and quizzes with prizes
- Races and active games
- Various attractions throughout the entire evening
- Discussions about the brain, science, and everything between the ears
- A space to relax and unwind after an intense academic year
We invite everyone who shares a love for cognitive science:
- Professors and academic staff of the Department
- Current NCU cognitive science students
- Toruń cognitive science alumni (no matter the graduation year!)
- Enthusiasts of the brain, mind, artificial intelligence, and human sciences
If you’ve ever sat through a neuroscience lecture, wondered about the nature of consciousness, or simply enjoy good company – this event is just for you.
