Welcome Days Schedule
The Copernicus Integration Centre (KOI) invites all international first-year full-cycle undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students to the Welcome Days, taking place on October 6–11. The event is organized by the KOI International Point.
Join our academic community, meet new people, and get all the essential information to kick off your journey at NCU! The Welcome Days schedule includes:
- Presentations on legalizing your stay, Toruń, safety, psychological first aid at NCU, the Copernicus Integration Centre, and the KOI Edible Garden,
- Intercultural workshops,
- A visit to Collegium Medicum,
- International Day,
- A mushroom-foraging walk.

Day 1

Visit to Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz
9:00 – Meeting point: outside the UMK Auditorium (at the back of the building, next to the swimming pool) and departure for Bydgoszcz
10:00–11:30 – Guided tour of the Bydgoszcz campus
11:45–13:30 – Visit to the Medical Simulation Centre
13:30–14:30 – Return to Toruń
Day 4
October 9th 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Municipal Student Activity Centre “Kotłownia” (Słowackiego 5/7 street, Toruń)
International DAY – for Polish and international academic community
15:00 – Welcome
15:10 – Introduction to the programme
15:20 – Refreshments: free international finger foods sharing
16:00 – Group game
17:00 – End of the group game and jury meeting
17:20 – Announcement of the results and prize-giving
17:45–18:00 – End
Free tickets for first-year international students and other members of the NCU academic community can be collected from the KOI International Point (16 Olszewskiego Street, Toruń), from 1st October, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
