Information for the 1st year students

Please remember to create an account on USOS.

After entering the „account creation” tab, click the link. On the website, you will find information about the benefits resulting from having an account on the NCU server and forms for setting up an account and changing the password.

Then we will be asked to indicate the type of study. We fill out the form with personal data. After completing the form, we will be asked to set a password to the account on the NCU server. As in the case of the account creation form, the data entered by us must coincide with these. As in the case of the account creation form, the data entered by us must coincide with those entered in the IRK system during recruitment.

If, for example, in IRK we did not provide the mother’s maiden name, we leave this field blank in the password change form.

If we manage to set up an account on the NCU server, we can finally start logging into student applications. The most important of them is USOSweb. We find in it information about our ratings, payments, registrations, and much more.

USOSweb is the primary tool for student communication. Please, each student set up an account and contact the Dean’s Office via the university mail, not PRIVATE mail.

After entering the usosweb page on the main page, you will find instructions and system information. To go to the most important news, click the sign-in button in the upper right corner.

We are redirected to a central login point.

To log in, we need an ID in the format student_id_no@stud.umk.pl, which we received while creating an account. We also enter the password we created. After logging in, the contents of my usosweb tab will appear.

For us, however, the most important tabs are for students and for everyone. After logging in, the contents of my usosweb tab will appear.

The tab for students contains a management panel major student services such as payments where we will find, for example, the bank account number to which it belongs to pay all payments related to our studies In the tab for all we will find, for example, a panel for changing the photo to the student ID.

Moodle

Students are required to pass the following subjects electronically:

• Occupational Health and Safety.
• Library preparation

Information on the dates of the courses can be obtained at the dean’s offices.

You can log in to moodle using the NCU server credentials.

Address of the Occupational Health and Safety website: moodle.umk.pl/BHPCM/ – from October 15, 2022, you will receive a link to the training in English.

Please remember, STUDENTS OF THE FIRST YEAR, to sign an e-vow, after creating an account on the NCU university server, log in to your student account in the USOSweb system and follow the instructions displayed, i.e. you have to accept the oath. Without this step, you will not be able to access the services offered by the system (e.g. see the timetable). The fact of accepting the oath or not having it will be recorded by the dean’s office. Persons who have not taken the oath by October 15 will be removed from the list of students.

Signing the electronic oath will be possible from October 1-14, 2022.

Please also check the status of the photo for the ID card and the fee for the ID card in the NCU Online Candidate Registration system at least one week before the ceremony of matriculation. The photo and payment should be approved.
