Our team forms a unique, interdisciplinary research ecosystem where experts in cognitive science, psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, and physics collaborate to explore the multidimensional nature of the human mind. In our research on cognitive and social development, we transcend traditional frameworks by analyzing how diverse cultural contexts, linguistic systems, and social practices shape the foundations of social cognition and the mechanisms of 'Theory of Mind.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simultaneously, we conduct advanced work on theoretical models of cognition, investigating the predictive nature of the brain, the structure of mental representations, and the philosophical and epistemological consequences of radically altered states of consciousness. A key pillar of our activity is the search for innovative interfaces between humans and modern technology. This encompasses both the analysis of the psychological dynamics of interaction with artificial intelligence and social robots, as well as the design of advanced neurotechnological tools and brain-computer interfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By integrating rigorous empirical research with profound theoretical reflection, we strive to understand how our identity, sense of embodiment, and the biological and cultural boundaries of human cognition are evolving in the era of digital transformation. Leveraging extensive international collaboration and access to state-of-the-art neuroimaging infrastructure, our team not only describes the mechanisms of the mind but also actively designs solutions to support mental well-being and diagnostics in the medicine of the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
