Research Areas <\/h3>\n

\nMy research focuses on philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and contemporary philosophy (especially neopragmatism). I investigate the nature and functioning of the human mind from a sociocultural perspective that emphasizes the constitutive role of cultural and social factors in shaping cognition. I am particularly interested in cognitive and neural diversity across cultures as a starting point for scientific inquiry in cognitive science. My work integrates sociocultural constructivism with mechanism-based and multi-level explanatory approaches to better understand how social practices and institutions shape cognition and brain architecture.
